At America’s beverage companies, we’re carefully designing our bottles and cans to be 100% recyclable. And we’re investing in Michigan communities, so more of our cans and bottles can be collected and made into new ones as intended.
Our Impact
Ann Arbor
Every Bottle Back® Project
The materials recovery facility in Ann Arbor needed rebuilding to process the growing number of recyclables collected. Our $800,000 investment upgraded equipment that sorted, cleaned and baled 10K pounds of recyclable material in the first two months alone.
Bay City
Every Bottle Back® Project
Bay City aimed to increase recycling in the region. Our $240,000 investment provided 15,000 households with new carts that increased the amount of recyclables collected.
Livonia
Every Bottle Back® Project
Livonia wanted to introduce standardized carts to support automated collection. We invested $210,000 to expand access and provide 35,000 households with new, upgraded curbside carts to improve recycling access.
Ypsilanti Township
Every Bottle Back® Project
Ypsilanti Township wanted to upgrade its recycling program. Our investment of $243,000 provided 15,200 households with upgraded curbside carts to collect more recyclable materials.
Marquette County
Every Bottle Back® Project
