Every Bottle Back® Project
The city of Jacksonville’s recycling system had a high contamination rate so we helped to fund a robust, hands-on recycling education program for 280,000 households. Our efforts resulted in a 23% reduction in recycling contamination and gave recyclables a higher chance of being remade.
Pensacola
Every Bottle Back® Project
Pensacola wanted to reintroduce their recycling program. Our $236,250 investment supported new on-truck AI camera technology and community education that helped reduce contamination in the recycling stream and lead to more recyclables being remade.
Miami-Dade County
Every Bottle Back® Project
Miami-Dade County sought to overcome low recycling participation and high contamination rates. Our $504,000 investment uses smart camera technology and targeted resident education to reduce contamination, increasing participation for 42,000 households and raising the volume of materials that can be recycled in the county.
