Our $3 million investment helped LRS build their Chicago materials recovery facility from the ground up, which will impact at least 6 million residents.
Cook County
Every Bottle Back® Project
The villages of Dixmoor, Posen and Phoenix wanted to transition underserved and underperforming communities to universal, cart-based curbside recycling. Our $161,000 investment educated residents and distributed new carts to 2,700 households.
LaSalle
Every Bottle Back® Initiative
We invested over $55,000 to provide 3,700 households in LaSalle with new and upgraded curbside recycling carts. In the first year alone, there was a 37% increase in materials collected.
Rockford
Every Bottle Back® Initiative
Contamination and limited recycling capacity are major challenges in Rockford. Our $225,000 investment is helping provide 50,000 households with educational materials and new upgraded curbside carts to increase materials collected.
Villa Park
Every Bottle Back® Initiative
Villa Park wanted to upgrade its recycling program to collect more recyclable materials. Our $97,500 investment provided 6,500 households with new, upgraded curbside carts.
